It won't kill it, but it surely won't help it. XIV is a game that needs everything to be perfect, and badly textured assets aren't helping.

And yes, there are plenty of redeeming features in the small details of XIV, does that mean I shouldn't point out my issues with something bad?

I like to enjoy all the landscape personally. If random janky pieces of badly textured grass keep popping up, I'll be annoyed.

You can joke about if you want, but it's the same reason I didn't like WoW.
