This is precisely the problem. Background chatter, flickering screens, and the shakeycam effect (not to mention having to go hunt for this crap) all hurt the impression people will have of the video. It'll look cheap and be annoying. People will see the bad angle video and think "yeah, it looks like the same crap as two years ago, PASS" and not even give it a second thought.
If SE is going to delay gameplay footage until it's ready, they should then show off the footage themselves, in HD, with good sound, on THEIR website and youtube channel.
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
