EDIT: Yes, it might just be for new games. But notice World of Warcraft: Mist of Pandaria is present. Not trying to incite anything, just making an observation.

Well ARR is really only a remake or a fix. Not a COMPLETELY new game/sequel/whatever.

it is intentional. old games won't be on a list of people's choice awards for new games.

edit: i pull my guess as to why it's not on the list as i overlooked wow being on there.

Yes I agree. I think that FFXIV ARR is more than Mists of Pandaria. MoP is only an expansion. ARR is a redesign, reconstruct from the bottom up.
