Ah yes, the bad translation/misinterpretation one. That always has to pop up eventually. He could meant not releasing videos about Yoshi's presentation and no plan to broadcast the presentation live because they did release live events on youtube (Vanadiel festival) before, they might just meant not this one. You guys are getting way too worked up for possibly Youmukon's possibly bad choice of words.
Sure maybe he made a poor choice of words, but why do we have to think that every time something like this happens?
What does it mean beta registration? Beta is already out or coming soon?

hell yeah we should be worked up on this one. WHY? cause we got to fight against the non-believers proving to them that this game is worth it. Go to FFXIV facebook page, go any game network site, the buzz is not from even trailers, the buzz is always from the presentation. we want this game to succeed but we keep telling the masses "oh we'll get gameplay video soon" and we get nothing we just put our foots in our mouth.
you honestly think the masses will care about footage like this.

always looking for good people.
lol i remember this vid, was so excited at the time. A new online FF! hell yeah!
What you hear is the result of too little information. If they had released more than a website 2 trailers and a screenshot on the website, do you think we would care that there was no live video feed at Gamescom?
When your fans are starving for info, opening a restaurant of it and then putting up "Sorry, we're closed." when they're all lined up to partake is bound to trigger this reaction.
Do you really think a fan of FFXIV likes getting its information off other websites? Do you think they're happy having to rehash FFXIVs disastrous release every time some off-brand website posts a video or screenshot? And then after that, read through about how "it could suck again folks!"
Really, FFXIV is not controlling the message. It's barely getting the message out there. I really don't think they understand that the internet is everything. If it's not on the net, it practically doesn't exist. We are months before release and the vast majority of the gaming public does not know/does not care about it.
To me that's saying the following: We will not be showing you the "Live Presentation" No where in his words did he say no " Gameplay Videos" just you won't be seeing him point to this and speak in Japanese to Germen people :P.And for those of you who are wondering about Yoshi-P’s scheduled presentation and real-time demonstration, unfortunately we do not have any plans at the moment to release videos or to do a live broadcast. We will however be releasing information through various media interviews, so be sure to watch out for them.
Your relentless defense at everything SE has got incredibly tired by this point. There's optimism and then there's ridiculousness.Exactly... it's not like they are going to stop them from Video Feeding and "Spreading" the word, I think that's what they are aiming for really, letting the Media and Fans Post all Video related stuff on Youtube!
Edit: And "Flood of Information" doesn't necessarily mean " Video Coverage either" ( but there will be video coverage from Youtubers and the Media, the Media will most likely have High-Quality Video Coverage).
You're bordering the latter.
More blurry, flickering shakeycam?
If someone wins an argument, they have learned nothing.
