Since I rarely fight wit Miqotes (surprisingly) do their tails raise up when they go into battle? I hardly pay attention to them lol.

As someone said though, XI may be dated in terms of graphics now (being a 2001 era game) but the animations are still far more diverse and beautifully done with attention to detail than a lot of newer MMOs.
