    And here comes the expected "beating a dead horse" response. Read the thread, I do not care. I do not care if 2.0 is so close already. I am voicing my opinions and concerns instead of staying silent and taking it like a good little boy. You get over yourself and accept the fact the drop system IS moronic and that I have full entitlement to complain about a game mechanic that diminishes my enjoyment of the game. Even the tiniest amount of logical thinking would show that removing content from the game without giving players a way to reap their rewards is completely retarded and does not bode well for what the team might do in the future.

    I'm not even going to bother with the rest of your post. I can't tell how a company runs thing? Of course not, but I can give feedback and show my displeasure. "If you don't like it, don't play it?" What's this, sixth grade argumentation? Maybe if you took the time to actually read, I said I still enjoy the game. I am simply using the forums for their intended purpose. If you can't deal with that and would rather see threads that do nothing but praise this game and serve absolutely no purpose I recommend you to visit those.

    My problem is not the difficulty, despite what many seem to think. In fact, I believe Ifrit and Moogle are more easy than they should be. But, honestly, where is the difficulty on completing the same content ad infinitum? If you've cleared Ifrit 20 times, you're also going to clear him 200 times. The difficulty never increases. No, my main problem is that, even after those 200 times, you're not guaranteed anything for your dedication.

    I don't see why it' so hard for them to implement a system similarly to Garuda. Make a totem or two drop 100% of the time, but increase the requirement. That way people aren't running Mog for the 406th time for their last weapon. And 350th time with only one weapon dropped.

    There really isn't an excuse for not implementing this in 1.22a or whatever, especially when it would give more people incentive to do Garuda, rather than <Ifrit Breeds, We Can Kill It.> <Do you need it?> being the only thing in shout for months and months.

    This is a piss poor excuse. Why should their be longer re-entry timers for fights that take 5-15 minutes when this game doesn't have nearly as much content as WoW, FFXI, etc?

    Welp! I feel the urge of giving my opinion on this matter. It is important to know and understand that not all players feel the same way as you guys do, and infact the drop rates are REALLY good if you compare to most MMORPG's were you need to farm for months to get 1 item that is only slightly better than what you can buy.

    But anyways, not going to talk about other games. However I do feel the drop rates here are way too good, more then it should be. And the reason for me to say this is because I have only been playing for 3 months and half, and have gotten almost all in this game. It feels like there is no reward in this game since there arent any items that you can get and show off since almost everyone on the server has them (even relics are seen very often now). And whats even worse, you dont need any of the end game content because you can do everything in this game with just AF and a regular level 50 weapon. To me this makes it like there is no reason for me to keep playing since there is so little left for me to do.

    Dont get me wrong, I dont like farming the same enemy for a whole month to just get 1 item. However I do think the difficulty on these enemies is way to easy which makes it really easy to obtain all items. To summarize my opinion on this is to keep the current drop rates, and increase the end game difficulty.

    100% agreed, i like everything so far about 2.0 except what the team is currently showing us in 1.0
    what are you even talking about? you have a chance of 8 weapons and tokens dropping in primals (except Garuda which is 8 weapons and guaranteed 2 tokens per run) And then for dungeons you have a chance for a lot more items to drop.

    Anecdotal evidence doesn't apply to everyone. I'm glad to hear you got most of your weapons already but the fact you've been playing for 3 months and already have most of your weapons just corroborates my point. You were lucky. People that have been playing for years might be unlucky and have 1 weapon to show compared to your 7.

    I dunno whether to say Grats on being LUCKY or to say go and take a long walk off a short pier!

    Been doing Ifrit since forever, and same with Moogle, and this is at least 3days a week with just runs on these give or take a few depending on friends/luck of the draw pug's. And all I have to show is 3 Ifrit and 2 Moogle.

    Luck isnt a difficulty factor, its an annoyance. And yes this has been brought up many times, and yes for some insane reason its repeatedly ignored EVERY time.

    Sadly the pessimist in me has a feeling this is indeed a sign of things to come in 2.0 and we will have the same situation as the 1.X Launch....Dev Team ignoring the playerbase, going ahead with their "ideals" and boom we're in one big messy room where something nasty just hit the fan!
