Lol, I don't know why... but I'm about to google this weird sh!t.Agreed. Dandy Maro is adorbs and most importantly, My Dragon are way more interesting than Kiryu are. For an alter-ego band they're pretty hilarious. He's a dude though, brah.
Update: So this is a Japanese boyband... Interesting.

Instancing everything would slow everything to a crawl because there's no way they could do it without loading..
here. My Dragon are an alter-ego band formed from Kiryu's members, and a response to Kiryu getting told they treat themselves too seriously. Kiryu are pretty much death, doom, darkness, etcetcetc. Alter-ego bands are awesome. Sendai Kamotsu are an alter-ego of Nightmare, and I belieeeeeve (I'm not American) Chiba from Sendai Kamotsu was guest at some animu convention in america recently.
Lol, nooooo... No no no no no.... No.
I think maybe Ptolemy's comment stems from a fear that FF14 will be too heavily instanced. Which is a valid fear. We will have to see how things work out.
It is unfortunate that in 2013 we can't have devs create a well optimized engine and servers capable of supporting an open world where content is mostly available for others to see and admire or take part in. Even if there is a plethora of pop-item mobs to keep the epeeners from hogging all the NM/HNM/HHHNM/VEUFHNM mobs.
As far as I understand it, instancing is less intensive than having open world content? Am I wrong?
Also what is the Japanese band where the members all look like FF7 characters and the lead singer looks like Cloud? Ill look it up on youtube but doubt ill find it.
