Just because grinding is not better than leves doesn't mean its not a valid option for people who would rather grind. You understand that right? A valid option is whatever people have fun doing.

I like how even you, op, are derailing your own thread. We were talking about leves and why people abandon them.

Give us some proof that you actually know that grinding is an 'ineffective' way of leveling up.. you know, like a signature with your character?
