Math, Materia, and How to Succeed at Melding

I have been wanting to set up a community spreadsheet to help with another thing I've been wondering, does higher level gear give you better materia, and does that outweigh the extra xp needed to SB. I'm weary about doing that because 1 person putting in the wrong information by mistake can through everything off.

You could have people submit the information to this thread, and compile the data yourself.
