    this is actualy what i think will happen too

    they will run it during the CLOSED BETA, and when the open beta is nearing thats when they will want to do the data transfer and shut the 1.0 servers down.

    remember, its not just a beta, its a closed and open beta, and im betting most people on these forums have no idea what the difference is

    Closed Beta: Its when a MMO does most of its Bug testing, so they don't really need many people, just enough to gather up all possible bugs, and Squash most of them.

    Open Beta: Its where they do most of the Stress testing out for their server the most, all the while of still collecting Bug reports that may have not been seen during the closed beta testing. (usually at this phase they are minor bugs)

    He could talk about the new loading screen. I read somewhere they want to show a concept art of the zone you enter and some info during the loading screen. Better than the current black screen.
