What can SE do to make FFXIV "Noticed"?

They never advertise on american TV like they do in japan. Do they think American players don't notice that? That they seem not to really care if we play or not? Just some simple advertisement would be more than enough.

yep but it was not a broadcast advert it was a Online advert. it was also the only reason i pre-ordered. i felt let down big time.

They have never aired a single commercial on american air waves for this game. And that, is the problem. They've probably spent pennies on advertisement in the states.

no i think i remember seeing commercials for it on like g4 and such but whatever *shrugs* I don't care I think i saw one what's it matter to you if i can remember the channel or not that's 2 years ago. My memories good but with the crap i've gone through the past two + years I doubt I can remember everything. However I do believe that I did see some commercials nor did I say it was 100% fact either i just copied the trailer i found now if you'll please get off the i have to prove people wrong phase and read posts we'll be all happy

I been browsing the Internet sure I found quite a few people who are excited for A Realm Reborn, but there's still a lot of people, who are having a hard time swallowing this pill and accepting its a different game.

All of us here, know the game has improved greatly and even more so when 2.0 comes out. However, a lot of people out there are still not amused by the Screenshots/Trailer and the Information provided via Interviews.

Some people are one-tracked minded out on the internet, " oh FFXIV again? I thought it was dead, not sure if I want to since it failed once already". Not that I blame them for thinking that way, It's just people don't give games in general a second chance to shine.

So I am here today, to ask you to rise up and give any information you would like to suggest to SE so when they make the push at Gamescom/PAX/25th Anniversary/TGS.. that they can take some of that information to heart when try to make this game a success.

Even if the game is the best ever.. it won't do any good without players to play on it.. and that's hard when alot of people think FFXIV is a failure.

Also, they can't be dumb about fixing shit. It took SE for FFXIV to flop to realize that they make mistakes too. For the entirety of FFXI they've just ignored any and all problems. Not to mention they need to put some logical thought into this game. Like the whole bs with DoL and the stealth ability, where not only is it level based but you move slower than molasses. The only thing you do as a DoL is harvest. Why can't they at the very least run when using stealth? It's that kind of stupid crap that people don't want to put up with. And don't get me started about how this game is going FFXI's route of marginal increases. At cap I should feel as if my character can take on the world, right now? I don't feel any different than on level 1. D=

But yeah, they need to advertise the hell of it and make it worth people trying it out again. They need to prove that this game is worth investing into once again.

They've dug this hole themselves and only they can crawl out of it. Showing a trailer with terrible voice acting is just not cutting it, neither is a rehash of screenshots and artwork that we've all already seen.

Oh and, how about not making the rewards for buying the collectors editions suck this time around? In real life, I got a little journal thing with tiny artwork which I was horribly disappointed in. I also got a certificate which I've looked at once and never again.... In game, I got the stupid version of speedy boots and the onion helm. Would it have killed them to have the speedy boots be a permanent movement speed increase when they were being worn? Apparently so, because 30min is all we get.

FFXIV is a safe haven I am take shelter in from the horrors of pay-to-win. Hope it remains that way.

Need to be advertised, not only by the internet, but on TV or on large billboards will make a bigger impact. Or both.
