2.0 beta?

I think current players (especially those at least old enough to qualify for Legacy) should be in Beta. I was in the first beta and was in the game since launch, so I feel like I deserve to be in the new beta also. Something for my loyalty. But I'm sure we'll get in. C:

Sadly beta = early preview to this generation of MMO players because that's exactly what the companies consider their beta. They only use the term beta to cover their asses if their demo is broken in any way so the press won't hop on their ass about a broken game.

Well SE seems to do stress testing with it. But they ought to do more of that 'cause launch was a nightmare with all the crashing servers.

There's no where stating that we're guaranteed to be in 2.0 beta. Its a nice thought but I highly doubt it will happen. And I've been here since closed beta. Would I like to be in 2.0 beta? Yes. Will I be in 2.0 Beta? The future hasn't happened so I can't say that I will. Otherwise I'll happily wait till either I am or am not but still enjoy playing the game. Should we be in it meh it's not a matter of what we should or shouldn't be. It's a matter of will or will we not be.

There is more then 1 type of beta though, and alot of people dont know the difference


open betas are commonly used for that

but closed betas are not, closed betas are extremely limited and have that nasty NDA you gotta watch out for

Sadly Elexia is still accurate in her statement, a majority of people who do go into closed beta do it to "test" the game out, and then you wonder why an MMO falls under when it comes out. It's because out of the 5-10k they got to test it only 30 take the time to actually give input or work on posting bugs while the others just test the game out.

I wasn't stating I was the only one. I was stating I stuck through all the crap with this game. Does that sound entitled? You are damn right it does. Because, in my eyes, I am entitled. Like i said, I deserve it, and I better be in Beta, period.
