I'm ok with Hamlet because I actually want the gear it drops, so if no seals then theres a chance to get some Militia equipment.
If hamlet was entirely about seals and nothing else I wouldn't have even started.

The double melding stage though is complete bullsh*t.

Personally I think all content in game should have measurable progress, and luck should only work for you and never against you.

Person A did 700 runs has nothing, Person B got full Darklight after 20, then Person A tried to double meld and failed 32 times while B got it right on the 2nd try = bad system.

Garuda has a great system, more content should use it.

    Example: Dungeons.

Person A and B both did 200 AV runs and got for each victory "10 Darklight shards" and now each has 2000 shards.

A got a Darksteel helm through the runs and B didn't get anything, but still A and B can go to Rowena and exchange their shards for some pieces, A went for body and B decided to get Gauntlets and Sollerets and both went back to get more shards and everybody was happy!

You and your retarded friend decided to start doing CC and 400 runs later he got a Corselet and you don't have jack.

Can make it so that speed runs gets more shards.

    Melding:

    Karma system?
As you fail to meld, a meter/bar fills up and when it fills up you can get a guaranteed success? I know now people might try to fail on purpose so they can succeed on a meld that matters, then fail some more and triple meld their previous meld but this isn't a bad thing it'll solve the *unwanted materia* problem and increase demand on materia when the market is saturated, it will also increase equipment sales because everybody will want stuff to burn to fill up that meter.

It could also be scaled so you need more T3s to fill it up that you would need T4s, body gear would get more points that gloves etc.

*Unwanted Materia*: the orange stuff, the resists and the cheaper T1~T3s.

    VS

You and that same idiot from earlier tried to triple meld some sweet gauntlets with 35STR/30ATK and he got it on his 3rd try.

You? LOL can't even get a double meld to succeed!!!

    -------------

For the current world NMs the reswpawn is fast, the battles are easy as dirt after the battle reforms and the drop rates aren't bad at all. keep as is.

    -----------

The I fixed system, I give SE permission to use my idea.

    GO!

Want a beer? A cookie? A massage on your feets too sir? You are asking for the game to give you everything free and with no effort. Then what is the meaning of play this game? Or may I say, for what do you play this?
Because once you would have everything, you would do.... nothing?

Just to be difficult, what of the people who have double melded on the first try? Not really any effort going in there other than putting the materials in your box.

Because I had that happen AWH YEAH.

Who is speaking the effort on double meld? I'm speaking to put effort on level a craft/gather, craft-gather the materials, turn it on a weapon then add the materias. That's effort. I think you missunderstood me.

Edit: if you have the money to sink it on buying the weapon and doble meld even on first try, you still got the money somehow no?
