Mainly I can read from your words: "I don't want to spend time and effort on level a craft/gathering to have a proper selfeconomy, so I complain about those people who did what I didn't want to do and yell that relic system is bad."
how does not wanting to put a huge time sink into monotonous crafting or gathering jobs equate to entitlement?
both hamlet and the enchanting part both favor only select people, and hardly should be considered part of obtaining a weapon.

getting an endgame weapon like his method was tried and true, collect X amount of NM drops, kill X amount of NM, kill x amount of monster... it was just as lousy a time sink, but at least you were actively doing something if you made an effort. this is just luck and monotony, face it, DOL/DOH jobs suck.

it's the fact that people think they deserve something even though they are not willing to put forth the effort to get it. if you don't want to put forth the effort required for something then you deserve nothing. the relic's are supposed to be something you ave to work for and not have it given to you. if you aren't willing to put forth the effort then you just don't want the gear. there's nothing wrong with not wanting to do it, but don't expect to be given it anyways.

    Yep.

The relic quests influenced my LS to work on their crafting and gathering jobs and they are actually enjoying the end result (being able to make their own/repair their own gear or make some great money/supply for the rest of the LS) and now that leveling either is quite painless, it's not so bad as long as you put the time in. Most of us can only play a few days a week, too, so it's not as inaccessible as some people claim.

that method of obtaining relic would have been easier than old Zilart and Promathia quests in FFXI lol...

what is with the recent gamers >.>

There's 0 effort to leveling a crafting class (unless you consider locating the turbo function on your controller "effort")

It is, but leves are now so much better and the new quality system almost always guarantees you'll be getting more exp than you used to.

It's still really slow in my opinion, but that doesn't mean it's not loads better than it used to.

So using turbo function will enable me to automatically search and buy mats on the wards? or automatically make me go to leve counter and deliver the leves? Damn, I should buy one then

I think the system is fine as is. It is already a lot easier than FFXI.

In the predecessor FFXI at least with every dynamis you completed you were a bit closer to your weapon.
Not sure what game you are playing there. Every Dynamis I completed contributed nothing to my relic, though it contributed to 1 person out of 30-50 people. I won't call getting 5 pieces of currency "progress" when I need about 20k units.

If you go the buy all currency route, even with a 2m income a week, it would take 2 years for some of them. People are completing this is just a handful of months.

    I think you misunderstood relics.
The only purpose of Relics is to bring back life to every single piece of content.
