LOL I agree OP. Especially about the applications...hahaha they are worse then the acting jobs I apply for and more involved. It is hilarious. FFXIV end game is serious business!

But yeah...this is why I wish to do things with pick up groups. I don't have time for all that nonsense with the applications that are more involved then REAL LIFE jobs. Whenever my bf and I join LS...they always treat me like a queen and then they ignore him and force (or expect) him to level up jobs he has no interest in playing..all so the leader or the leaders buddies can play the particular job.

Annnnd this is why I almost have all crafts to 50, because I rather spend my time crafting then doing end game with that type of community. I know not everyone is like that..I have met some very nice people and been in very nice social LS. But as far as the end game stuff goes...no, just...no. It is embarrassing. I instantly get turned off when going to join a shell that does events only to see a more in depth application then one that I've applied for for something as involved as acting. What a joke :X

I would certainly love to see some of these applications that are more involved than real life jobs.

here is ours http://www.seraphimls.com/recruitment I would suspect most are somewhat similar. Not even 1/8 as involved as a RL job application. Than again I have yet to apply for an acting position which probably amounts to "contact info", "what have you acted in?", "attach picture here".
