Is it possible for someoen to get the materia and materials themselves? I can understand if they do not have miner and need those minerals. But what about spiritbonding for materia? If they can do that they would save some gil?

They want everything come ez n cheap, it just ez to buy cheap waist n head piece to SB. SE told this quest is really timesink quest. 3k a belt, 6-7k a head to SB so HARD lolplayer

To be fair heaven eye's materia rate is so much way lower than manathirst or mnd, demands doubled bc used for 2 class, but stocks are very rare.

With the rate of Heaven's Eye IV, it's probably less time consuming to make the money than SBing gear if you have the means to do so. I believe the point is more towards the fact that the materia is required for two relics, which because of this sole factor both the supply and demand are greatly affected. Touch of Rage IV is also a rare materia to get, however only War uses it. On my server the price of Touch of Rage is about 800k cheaper than Heaven's Eye IV, and the supply is usually greater.

Yeah, worse than I had expected. When I saw this thread I went to my materia retainer thinking I could make oodles of money selling my Heaven's eye IV materia since I am boycotting the relic weapons. Turns out I have at least 5 grade IV or every other materia that I keep and haven't recently used up and not a single one of this...Damn!

Please address this obvious discrimination against Bards and Paladins, SE.

Can't wait for SE to make Bard and Paly materia be new ones you only get from materiaing Garuda weapons or something. Just look at it this way, it could always be worse.

It could be worse, this is true. Saying 'it could be worse' as a means to justify a broken and flawed design choice isn't acceptable though. Not saying you're trying to justify it, but it is true statistically that BRD and PLD got the short end of the stick. Why? This could have easily been avoided.

To anybody that says: "Lol go SB the materia yourself, stop being lazy" - go spend some time melding some belts, hats, and weapons yourself, then get back to me.

People who are paying 2mil for Heavens Eye materia totally missed the train when I was spotting the allready melded weapons for like 3-4 mil.

I really doubt the weapons go for 3-4 mil...

On our server weapon costs are :

Sword&bow :~30 (which is imo too low)
Axe : 30
Lance : 30
Mnk fists : ~13
WHM : ~15
BLM : ~30
