Yea , the sad part is the devs them selfs posted that, so it must be important to them.if you really dont see anything wrong with this, ill just ignore everything you say.

The dev forum is filled with a crapton of dev subjects, some important, some less. They had to start somewhere, and they put on the newest one. Since, you know, the front page is normally for news.

It wouldn't have made any sense making a news post saying "we posted this on the dev forum 3 weeks ago. Discuss".

Again, despite the fact that the usual suspects can't help to take advantage of this to gratuitously bash the game and the development team, the post generated quite a bit of interesting discussion, and attracted at least one new user to the forum, ergo it served it's purpose.
