How about you wait like the rest of us and stop trying to make minor things a priority? I mean, can't they finish the progress they're making with 2.0's development first before catering to a minority? It'd be nice to have an actual finished game...

Yes but 2.0 isn't coming until 2013 which is still half a year away.
I don't like burdening other people like that. I do have a nice linkshell but I think it would be rude for me to expect them to carry me through everything again.
Was it really necessary to be so rude? You do know that they have different people working on different aspects of the game. It's not like every part of the team drops whatever responsibility they have to work on a singular goal. I doubt creating something like this would hinder the progress 2.0 is making in the slightest.

Then why do you think they should drop whatever they're doing to cater to your aesthetic needs?
Oh no! A player wants their character changed because they don't like it!
>.> Isn't everyone going to be able to change their gender/name/looks at launch anyway?
Who Cares!? Hold everything! we need to implement this! It's more important than the launch of 2.0 itself! forget about fixing the game and testing everything out, character editing is serious!
I never said they should drop what they're doing nor did I imply that it was more important than 2.0 itself. Then why do you think they should drop whatever they're doing to cater to your aesthetic needs?

Well I'm the same way, but you really don't have to. I dont know what your level situation is, but if it really really really irritates you to the extent that the game isn't fun, just reroll so you can enjoy yourself again. Seriously, there's quite literally nothing better to do with your xiv free time. And I'm sure your LS would greatly appreciate a diversion from the monotony that is XIV "endgame". Grinding the same two dungeons forever is not really "fun" in anyone's book...I'm sure they'd be happy to have some other goal to work towards. Jus sayin. If you're not having fun its no use torturing yourself for a couple more months. That will just suck lol.
EDIT: Ignore the obvious trolling. People fashion themselves witty these days.
The point is, were almost at the finish lineWas it really necessary to be so rude? You do know that they have different people working on different aspects of the game. Its way too late to implement such a drastic change in this phase
btw, did you create this character? all by yourself? to the tiniest detail?
If so, your fault, and honestly we (I) dont give a damn
I wish I could delete this thread. To think I used to hold the entire community of this game in such high regards.
I appreciate the kind responses the rest of you have given. Sorry for making this thread.
Well you asking for a dumb request when 1.0 would be gone within 3month from now sadly there no way they could do this with the issue ffxiv have and it would be a waste to allow people to change there char and then again in 2.0 the point of us changing 2.0 is becuase the new engine would change how we look and some people may not like the small change that would happen in 2.0 so allowing a change would fix that..
anyways good luck/

He's right. You made the character yourself. This is retarded. You knew you were stuck with it. Too bad, so sad, you made your bed, now sleep in it.
How is it not possible for someone to have a change of heart? I spent a lot of time making my character but ultimately I regret a rather significant decision I made in the process.
