Ninja and a dog? that's a little silly since dogs have nothing to do with ninja's. SE already said long time ago theres a chance after 2.0 DRG will get its pet but at the same time i wouldn't be shocked if it did because took there time to give DRG it's pet back in FFXI.

i can't remember what was said but was long the lines of DRG before 2.0 can't have a pet for it can't work with the system or something. if u live in the UK see if u can get ur hands on JG Mag. Think it was the feb or march issue.
