List of significant content added since then:

- 3 Instanced Primal Fights with Ifrit, Good King Moggle Mog XII and Garuda for level 50 parties of 8. All of which have a chance of rewarding powerful weapons after defeat.

- 4 Instanced Dungeons. Dzamael Darkhold, Cutter's Cry and Aurum Vale for level 50 parties and Thousand Maw of Toto-rak for level 25, all with bosses and unique drops. There's also Shposhae which is an open dungeon for level 15-20 parties.

- 3 Beastmen Strongholds. Zahar'ak, U'Ghamaro Mines and Natalan are filled with strong beastmen and NM's that may drop keys that open chests within each stronghold. There's also 1 Imperial Stronghold with Castrum Novum which is similar.

- Grand Company Quests. You must align with Twin Adder in Gridania, Maelstrom in Limsa or Immortal Flames in Ul'dah and complete quests to earn company seals and rank up within that company. You can also purchase unique items with your seals. The story events leading up to 2.0 are found here.

- Job Quests for each class beginning at level 30 and concluding at level 50. Completing these will earn you extensions to the current classes in new skills and unique gear.

- 3 Instanced Hamlet Defense level 50 events for parties of 8 in which all 4 disciples can take part in defending a hamlet from a beastman invasion. There's also many unique rewards that have a chance of dropping here too.
