Strange, I've still got it set on my account. I wonder if it'll automatically change on the billing date or i can keep the 180 day deal.

Mine is set as 180 too, but because the current 180-days one didn't expire still. If you try to change it, like changing to 30 and then trying to change back to 180 the option wil not be available anymore.

I just came back to the game, and as I understood the Legacy campaign I'd be fine with a 30-day recurring sub so long as I subscribed for 3 months (went for a 30 day because I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy the game, having only played shortly after launch).
Now, I read this, and, freaking out, bought 90 days. But, because the 90 days don't "kick in" until the end of my 30 days (Jul 10) I don't seem to have Legacy status yet. So despite the rep's post I still feel nervous about all the confusion with this -- mostly because I convinced two friends to come back with me and they read this bit of news on various sites and are all >:| at me.

Comprehension, it's a good thing. When I first read this I figured this simply meant that you had til the end of the month to take advantage of the 90 day option to fufill the campaign requirement. When I read it again, it sounds more like june 30th is the last day to qualify for the legacy campaign.
Some clarification here is vital, as it may influence my ability to persuade someone to subscribe at all.
Me too. I guess now I can be one of those 7up tards lol.
I'm in this exact same situation. I'm thinking though the beta won't even start til I'd say earliest september, probably October or even later... so that means even with 30 day option, we will have paid for June, July, and August, so we can still get it.I just came back to the game, and as I understood the Legacy campaign I'd be fine with a 30-day recurring sub so long as I subscribed for 3 months (went for a 30 day because I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy the game, having only played shortly after launch).

Hi Bayohne,
Thanks for clarifying things. I had a followup as a few people brought up:
* Will those of us on the 180-day Subscription (already Legacy), need to do anything when our 180-subscription is up? Will the Account System automatically switch us over to the New Maximum-day Subscription, or do we have to manually track when our 180 is up and go in and manually pick another Billing option (since it looks like the 180 is going away)?
* Also, will you be sending out an update / instructions on how you'll be handling Automatic Billing / Subscriptions when 2.0 Beta / Final 2.0 Launches? Do we just let our subscriptions automatically renew (I hope so), or do we have to manually go in and sign up again after Beta, etc.?
Thanks~

If it helps anyone.
-- I had an account I had registered before May but it has been cancelled since December.
-- I logged in today, paid for a 90 day sub.
-- Instant legacy status.

I'm in almost the exact situation you are. I had activated my game last June and did the free trial in February. I wanted to come back at the beginning of this June, so I paid for 30 days on June 5th without knowing about the Legacy campaign. When I had learned about it a few days later, I thought I could just buy 90 days in July and I would have Legacy. Since they're discontinuing it, I switched my 30 days continuous to 90 days, but it won't be active until July 5th, and there's no way to immediately cancel my 30 days so I can pay for 90 days before the cut off.I just came back to the game, and as I understood the Legacy campaign I'd be fine with a 30-day recurring sub so long as I subscribed for 3 months (went for a 30 day because I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy the game, having only played shortly after launch).

Reading the new FAQ, I interpreted this section:
as meaning the 90 days needs to be registered, not paid, before June 30th. So hopefully if you go in and change your 30 days to 90, even though the "kick in" date is after the cut off, it will still work? Or is the section that covers our situation this one?:Originally Posted by Bayohne

You will need to register a 90-day subscription option to your account before June 30th, 2012 to be able to fulfill the requirements needed to qualify for the Legacy Campaign.
Could a rep confirm? I would really like a definitive, "If you are currently in the middle of a purchased 30 days, you will have enough time to purchase two more 30 day cycles to qualify for Legacy."Originally Posted by Bayohne

You will need to pay a further 60 days of subscription before the start of the version 2.0 beta test to be able to fulfill the requirements needed to qualify for the Legacy Campaign.
