They could also try a system (something) like GW@ does, where you have a Home server but can visit other servers.

If they made the international servers our Home servers, they could add some regional servers to "visit" or maybe atleast add some servers for instances where if all players are located in a certain region, they could be placed on a closer server, thus reducing latency atleast for the instance.

I'd say theres multiple options they could look at, its say its early to jump the gun. I think both sides i can agree with, i love the international server style (Old EVE-Online vet here, and totally enjoyed the world wide gamers) But i also love low latency.

Basically there is likely other options they (and probably already have) looked at besides splitting the current community up. ANd hope that they thought about such issues early in the 2.0 rebuild to find a compramise between both groups so we can all, atleast at times, have what nwe would like.
