    ....Wait are you saying the textures now and upon release won't be HD? lol, every video of XIV I made as of 1.x has always come out to 1080p HD....

    Also, the file system isn't fragmented, it's not packed which allows for not only easier editing if you must (i.e changing armor designs just for your eyes etc) it's done in a way that if the game has an errornous file it won't crash the entire game but just x error. With games that uses pack files like Unreal games, if a pack errors, the whole game is kaput so it still takes the same file space if not less than some games with pack files.

    I think he's using "HD" as a general term, not just about the resolution the game runs at. While HD resolutions are 720p and all that stuff, I'm sure you would agree that the textures of for example Unreal Tournament 1 from 1999 doesn't have textures worthy of being called "high definition", even if the game easily runs in 1920x1080.
