Seals? Mats from dungeon coffers? Those weren't random either I guess, so yeah I'm just annoyed that I might break 50mil.

Stop exaggerating, it doesn't make your point more clear.
My sentinel's belt broke on a double meld w/ 12% chance, I'm not sure where that fits into your number scheme.
    Kokoroon's Nestpicker 2/55 a friend 1/4 so who's chances are right, the 25% or the ~4%?

What your droprate has been, or even factored with others is simply a guideline, not concrete. If the RNG scaled based on attempts until you go a drop then reset you could come up with pretty much fixed values for the maximum attempts needed to get a drop otherwise:

The joy of random is that no matter what numbers I choose it's still possible:
With a 99% chance of success you can go 1/100 or 1/1 or 1/1000000, the point is being illustrated. Those are all factual numbers. You can't successfully defend random because it will randomly let you down. I also understand probs and stats and again the joy here is that to prove that something is truly 16% probable might take 1mil test cases before you get down to a <1% variance. Which part of the million do you think deserves to get weapons? The half that works for them or the half that gets randomly lucky?

I get that you think 15+% is decent, I don't know why you do, but I get that you do. The part I don't get is why you defend a system that might very well cause some who more than deserve to get things(Spent 4 hrs a day 7 days a week for 3 months) from getting them because a dice roll just won't fall in their favor.

12% chance will only be there probably if you have double max tier IV and if you are smart you will use lowest tier IV to meld this relic for higher chance.

Also i am not defending RNG, i probably hates it as much as you, i am just attacking your ridiculous exaggeration.

and also i think it's decent because i have actually melded over 600 items, so i do know how it actually works rather than crapping this thread with random numbers.

There is that with the max T4 but if I'm out SBing my own I'm not gonna bring so much crap that I sit there until I've gotten 2x lowest and then hope on that one pair working.

I've seen that you don't agree with it before, that's why I'm thrown by you not calling this whole RNG for 50% of AF weapons for what it is, which is crap.

On the other half, the large numbers aren't the point, the point is that while the probability is 15~20%, that does not mean I am guaranteed to get a success in 5~8 tries, it's absolutely possible that it could take more than 20/50/100. Your attacking a big number, but somehow not realizing that it's not BS it can happen. I'm sure that at some point someone will hit 30 breaks and throw a controller/keyboard/mouse at a wall or what have you, because at the end of the day 20% probable is just another way of saying you might succeed but probably won't.

Theres nothing to know how it works, except how to get a few % more each try.

But still everything is possible. You can go 1/1 with a 5% chance of success but on the other side u can go 0/50 with a 40% chance of success.
Did the player, who didnt farm HQ mats to get a few more %, deserve it more to get the double melded? Did he work harder for it? I dont think so.

Already 21 pages and some still dont get the point.
Not to make it easier, faster (hell, they can even put a month of wait-time between those quests, as long as its the same for everyone) or whatever. But thats said thousands of times yet...

    I agree.

It's also something you can buy. A player manages, after some years, to go 7/7 on Relics (or just gets what he/she wants). Then starts to sell double melded weapons items for 50-100m.

    Bam! Buy Relics!

    That's just stupid.
Worst way to get final weapons I've ever seen in a mmo.
