

Yup Assault Was so random its in every content... So was campaign >_>. Yes Dyna was random with notes but you always got some no matter what.
That post was in response to somebody else. Also, I do know how long it will take. A long time because it's a RELIC. I don't hundreds of millions of gil, I had 40mil. I have since spent around 15mil on attempts to double meld an obelisk. I had failed all 3 attempts. I'm not complaining though. Of course this item is going to take long to get it's supposed to be the best weapon in the game. If you don't like how it is then don't attempt to get it. It's not a requirement to get these weapons, I can guarantee that there will only be a handful of people with them for a very long time.Do you realize how long it would take to:
Gather raw materials to,
make the mats to,
make the gear you want to,
spiritbind in a party than,
turn into materia and,
hope you have a glorious gold horseshoe up your arse to get the EXACT materia and grade you want?
Double-melding is my only issue yet most of the nutjobs talking to me think I have issue with all else; no I don't; just this. If you've got a few hundred mil do with it what you want but I still think you don't want to lose it >.>

You also had to shell out a great deal of cash for it. You may have "Got some" no matter what but more sometimes you wouldn't even recoup the cost of your investment.
Actually I guess Dynamis is a bad idea for what the OP is trying to prove something like assault should be used but on a much longer scale.
I'm not oposed to point systems, hell I would rather them to a extent. But people are getting far too bent out of shape for something that is nowhere near as bad as they are making it out to be.

The XI Relic system was nearly perfect... It was a still RNG scenario, some-what, for an item and currency; but, you were rewarded after acquisition.
This garbage is a far cry from that. This is a desperate need to stretch out current, and in most cases shitty, content. You are constantly working against stupid odds and luck, not skill. There is absolutely no need for talent, skill, or knowledge in nearly all of the steps, in this process.
It is following the traits of what people have complained about since Shitfrit got implemented. They changed it for Garuda, and people were appeased, somewhat... There was a reward for actual skill.
This is not a measure of skill, it is not defining your prowess at a job, and it is a mockery to those who take pride in doing their best to excel in being skilled.
To think other-wise about the bull-shit process of getting a relic in this game is nothing short of complacency.



Just wanted to let you folks know that I got my note before this patch, and the drop rate is significantly higher now. Just get a group of friends and spam it for a week and a half.
