Exciting and demoralizing at same time. Why login to current game when everything will be better/easier in 2.0? For example, grinding on a craft to 50 in 1.xx seems like a waste of time and resources given 2.0s streamlined and stress-free (purportedly) design.
Also, I am still a little concerned about the leveling content for 2.0. I think the masses aren't big fans of party grinding like us FFXI vets, and Leves weren't viewed favorably. How will people level? I think with the shift towards dynamic events like seen in Rift and included in GW2, party grinding and leve quests will be a tough sell to the general MMORPG community (which we need to attract some of to ensure the longevity of this game). I hope they either add some other mechanism for exping or do a really good job of building infrastructure (and tutorials) for helping novices setup parties and engage in levequests.
