I"m surprised they wouldn't allow cameras to see the game-play since that would definitely give a huge scope over the improvement from the release of XIV's battle system. Man it was kind of painful watching that battle system and seeing that people had no clue what to do XD. Though maybe they plan on releasing some gameplay footage on the site which would be to nice to see some actual gameplay instead of the trailer they had planned.

There is a lot of FFXIV love in the Twitter-sphere, from what I can tell.

There are people loving the screen-shots, people are hungry for PS3 info, people wanting to see the real-time action that is being enjoyed by the fortunate few, people are ready to give it a try or come back, and people are amazed at the sheer fact that this is a comeback that no one imagined (besides us).

And it is only day 1...

IMHO: That's hype! That's how you push/revive a product! That's how you play the game!
