This is not many or other games.. so FFXIV is "different" then.. oh and btw you can STILL be Diverse.. just don't use JOBS!! and use CLASSES!!! you can have all the Diversity you want.

your locked to the same skill set, be it job or class. besides that's not diversifying your job/class or role, that's just stacking skills.

Stacking skills= Diverse, Lancer isn't bound to mostly anything.... Jobs= Party-Oriented Classes= Solo Oriented

Edit:There's not much any developer could do and be like:

- Hey You Lancer your a level 20 so You just obtain Second Wind
- Hey You Lancer #2 your a Level 20 so You just obtained Bloodbath
- Hey You Lancer #3 Your a level 20 so you just obtained Provoke

you cant do that you'll drain all your mp for minimal damage, its all about the spamming thunder <.<

You can do what you want, You choose to do good damage with Thunder. or min-mid range damage with Blizzard/Fire, Hey look Diversity have fun choosing! (left or right.. hmmmmm)

Oh your right. do i get Kicked from party for playing with Fire and aggroing unnecessary mobs or do i get canned because I'm not doing enough Damage. How very wonderful, you've opened my eye's to new possibilities.
