Yeah, thank god that time only lasted like 2 months of the game's life and the game is now well over a year old and bringing this up is totally not a red herring to distract from a problem by browbeating people into feeling guilty because it was much worse for you back in the day like you're some kind of old man who lived through the German bombing raids of London during World War II....

that's not mentioning that was back when even the big spells cost was below 100mp to use and there was multiple ways to recover mp back then. back then there was things like siphon mp that could just about completely recover your mp from empty to full. if you ever ran out of mp back in those days you were pretty pathetic honestly so there was no reason to need mp recovery.

yeah. i also left off having stygian spikes that gave you mp everytime you were attacked physically.

Anyway, were you allowed to recover MP with your weapon out back then? I know one could recover while moving, but not quite if you could while in active mode. I don't think you can in almost any MMO. So the point of wanting to do something while recovering MP is... stupid.

Actually you still can't recover mp with your weapon drawn. And yeah the weapon skills didn't even recover that much mp to begin with. But that was also back when you couldn't cast spells without your weapon drawn, so it was something to do in between casts.

Still, it was a way to deal at least some damage without burning through your mp like you have to now.

I know you can't. That's why I'm asking if we were able to.

Anyway, there was really no point to those attacks in parties, just duos or when soloing. I dunno, I had fun with Levinbolt and stuff, but I don't think it's a big deal. The game is so different now and I'm used to it, as well as like it. A lot.

Meh, I rather like having some variety in my games. Using the same 15 skills for 50 levels is not what I consider exciting or fun.

Technically, you use the same 15 abilities in level 50 from then on. Until then, you get them slowly.
