The Dark Knight is characterized by wearing tight, sometimes enclosed black armor and wielding a sword powered by dark energy. Their physical stats, with exception of Defense, are usually high, but their other stats depend on the game they appear in. The typical Dark Knight ability is Souleater, also known as Darkness, which allows them to sacrifice their HP to perform stronger attacks. However, Souleater is not exclusive to the Dark Knight class. The Dark Knight is opposed by the Paladin, holy knights who protect allies and wield sacred powers. They could do alot with dark knight that doesn't require Blood for Blood or Bloodbath, for example add Souleater a buff that lasts for a set time, rather than the next WS, which would make it different to Blood for Blood, and they could just add dark magic spells, perhaps the complete oposite to PLD actions.

Dark knight could still have blood for blood i think it going to be MRD THM/LNC= Dark knight it does make sense

Weapon: Great Sword (GS has innate bonuses to damage when used in WS, not to mention it would help stuff like Riot Blade and Rage of Halone actually find use in combat)
Sub-classes: Lancer, Marauder
Notes: World First! Job traits that enhance the abilities from support classes in ways not available when playing as GLA with a great sword.

They'll probably stem Drk from Gld. When you're on a Job(rather than class) you can only use abilities from two other classes. Classes can slot abilities from all other classes as long as they're not exclusive.
If they do stem Drk from Gld then they could easily make Lnc and Mrd the two classes that they draw their supplemental abilities from(I'm not sure if either is locked to those classes but that would obviously have to be changed).
