    Mobs chasing you on 2.0

    2.0 will bring divided areas. As far as I know the way mobs were done, that they lose aggro after a while, was done because of the current seamless maps.

    How would you like for mob chase to work on 2.0?

    I liked things like having to cross water to lose hate on XI.

    I definitely don't want to have to run all the way to the zone line to lose hate like in FF11. But honestly, I highly doubt that Yoshida would let that happen.

    Leashed mobs is fine and should stay in the game.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    Depend, the goats following you was more a problem then a good thing, others was better.
    On the mobs chasing you to death..thank you, but that concept is ages old, and work in a world where sneak and invisible exist.

    The invisible part exists, just switch to a gatherer class :3

    I just wish mobs weren't in nice neat little segregated groups<,< riding through the region looks sooooooooooo fake I mean....not every damn mob time should be a herding mob>< reminds me of abbysea........... And the long areas of no mobs except the random marmot also bug me to hell...

    No no no, I never want to be chased across a whole entire zone again.

    I would be ok with them increasing the leash by 2-3 times though, and don't think there should be any leash inside a dungeon.

    I think things should remain the way they are. If I've run for 20 - 30 seconds in one direction and haven't been killed yet, the monster isn't going to catch me unless I stop running- so why waste my time?

    I don't care how long I have to run as long as they don't give every single mob a ranged attack. There's still way too many.
