1 word : nearly all of those dont have a decent skirt, and the armor tops completely cover it, my point is "yes" technically they are there, but there either only the top looks good which covers the entire body, or 2: its undyeable or 3: it doesn't look proper just a half ass attempt at it lol

as for zot/swallow compass the only decent piece is the head outside of blm top

Now you're just moving the goalposts. No where in your original post did you mention "skirts", just lamenting there wasn't any "dark emo" fantasy sets. Also saying "those aren't good enough" is just subjective, the fact is they exist and again you claimed they didn't.

It sounds like a lot of you people never played a Final Fantasy game before. Medieval armour has only appeared in a few FF games and it's usually only on a couple characters. Most of the time what you see in FF games is pretty modern.

Yeah, there's a lot of "street wear" recently, but this is also a pretty futuristic expansion once you reach Heritage Found. The stuff you find around Tuliyollal is pretty fitting for its aesthetic prior to that, though.

FF1 up to 5 is all medieval armours. The actual modern inspired fits appeared around 6, and got confirmed with 7-8-10-13-15.

I mean I don't even like these modern ones doing because these aren't modern its more like 50+ years in the future looking stuff id prefer things like 2004-2010 type of fashion scene stuff and hairstyles which so I'm hoping they finally are going to do that i mean the rebel/alt things on mogstation are close. in past i post just want a hairstyle type and ppl ~_~ what they are showing isnt modern though lol, plus that "i dont want modern argument has no point or purpose SINCE WE HAVE GUNS lol

Guns have been around for hundreds of years IRL and in FF are handled as a more steampunk thing quite often. That does not indicate a modern setting...

There have been at least a few sets that people really enjoyed. I remember how hyped everyone was for the Vanguard gear.

The raids theme is about the fighters turning into beast right? Why couldnt our raid gear be animal themed as well? That would've been a lot more cooler IMO

I actually agree with you on this, but mostly just because the Arcadion gear as we have it largely just looks like the art team REALLY liked Cyberpunk 2077 and wanted to make god awful bootleg gear based on the fashion in that game. At the very least making it monster themed like the fights would have been interesting and more on-theme.
