seems like a contradiction if you do it anyway. their numbers are probably louder than forum posts xD
Rewards are big part of fun. I'd say, the biggest fun is getting a reward. If there's no useful reward, that takes away a lot of fun.

It's clear they want quantum to be the new way for them to try things but how do you know when A) so few people are doing it and B) the rewards for it discourage people from doing it in the first place and running it again?

So in the end, it doesn't look like they learned anything from Criterion savage.
Unique rewards are being put behind savages, ultimates and chaotic raids, neither SE nor community seems to have any issues with that.

Good point, people shouldn't expect any rewards from difficult content beside the satisfaction of clearing it.

Therefore, we should remove gear rewards from Savage fights and place it in Normal raids instead, since obviously no one runs Savage for the gear.

    (This is sarcasm btw)

That’s not what I said. I’m not against rewards. I’m saying if you only do content for rewards and hate the experience, maybe it’s worth asking why you’re doing it at all.

People often say “There’s no reason to do this without rewards,” but isn’t the time spent enjoying it a reward in itself? In real life, we do hobbies without external rewards all the time. I write books that’ll never be published and sometimes I hate what I wrote but the process is still more fulfilling than the lack of rewards/recognition it gives me. Games are the same. They’re hobbies. You don’t need a reward to justify doing something you enjoy.

While that is true, there's no denying that rewards are often a strong motivator and part of the fun of doing something. Having goals to work towards to is something a lot of people want, myself included.

Why do people make Zodiac weapons if the experience is so awful? Because they want a really cool weapon.

Why do people farm Bozja? For experience, Resistance weapons, glam armor, and other cosmetic rewards.

Why farm Eureka? Same reasons as Bozja, minus the EXP.

It goes on and on. Any piece of content usually has something cool and unique to it that players want to get. And then we have Quantum and... It's just one title. Not exactly a whole lot of shelf life there.

People usually don't hate the battle. Initially, they're neutral to it. Then they look whether they want to spend time on it. Do they necessarily want to learn and prog the battle? Not really. Do they hate the idea of doing it? Not at all. So they need some little push towards actually doing it, some little reason. Rewards are that reason.

btw you're playing a game where the biggest catch of better gear is to clear an ow fate 0.5 seconds faster.

it's what you get when you try to carbon copy wow in 2014 but have no actual clue how and why they were doing things.

how am i defending the indie company? if enough people clear it they will view it as success. regardless of some posts in the english forum.
if the content on its own isnt fun enough AND the rewards arent good enough why do people do it?

without fun jobs none of the content is fun!
jobs should have their full rotations on lvl 60 or 70! for a better low lvl experience.
for satisfying glam builduing we need 5 basic glamplates + 2 more for each class / job
pls give us a proper glam collection like every other mmo has.
pls upgrade the gear from normal raid and also alliance-raid by 10 ilvl each.
pls add old glowy ex trial weapons for new jobs!
and for gods sake pls give as the ability to preview any hairstyle on our own character!

Didnt they not say that the Reward will be the same doesnt matter if you clear the highest or the lowest? and the highest is just for the people which want a challenge? so yea it doesnt need a extra special rewards, a minority will only be the ones which clear it anyway

Glowing weapon uppgrade. An extra mount specifik for q40. Could be many things like glams for gear etc.

By your logic a punch in the face would be acceptable reward for your hobbies because it is still a reward, because I say it is, and you got the journey to the punch too...Are you happy?
