how about not doing it if its not fun to do?
seems like a contradiction if you do it anyway. their numbers are probably louder than forum posts xD

Even if its fun to do many people will not do it because of lacking rewards. I think we deserve more rewards. It gives more meaning for the content. I dont se more rewards as a bad thing.
How about not defend small indie company when no one asked?
Everyone paid for yawntrail AND sub price till this point. We get a fight that is no one farming even in easiest version and hardest one gives you only title, not even weapons/glam like ultimates.

I mean they're right though? If you only do content for rewards not because you enjoy it, then what's the point?
That was fun! I'm going to take a 21 hour nap now~

Good point, people shouldn't expect any rewards from difficult content beside the satisfaction of clearing it.
Therefore, we should remove gear rewards from Savage fights and place it in Normal raids instead, since obviously no one runs Savage for the gear.
(This is sarcasm btw)

That’s not what I said. I’m not against rewards. I’m saying if you only do content for rewards and hate the experience, maybe it’s worth asking why you’re doing it at all.Good point, people shouldn't expect any rewards from difficult content beside the satisfaction of clearing it.

People often say “There’s no reason to do this without rewards,” but isn’t the time spent enjoying it a reward in itself? In real life, we do hobbies without external rewards all the time. I write books that’ll never be published and sometimes I hate what I wrote but the process is still more fulfilling than the lack of rewards/recognition it gives me. Games are the same. They’re hobbies. You don’t need a reward to justify doing something you enjoy.

While that is true, there's no denying that rewards are often a strong motivator and part of the fun of doing something. Having goals to work towards to is something a lot of people want, myself included. That’s not what I said. I’m not against rewards. Why do people make Zodiac weapons if the experience is so awful? Because they want a really cool weapon.
Why do people farm Bozja? For experience, Resistance weapons, glam armor, and other cosmetic rewards.
Why farm Eureka? Same reasons as Bozja, minus the EXP.
It goes on and on. Any piece of content usually has something cool and unique to it that players want to get. And then we have Quantum and... It's just one title. Not exactly a whole lot of shelf life there.
People usually don't hate the battle. Initially, they're neutral to it. Then they look whether they want to spend time on it. Do they necessarily want to learn and prog the battle? Not really. Do they hate the idea of doing it? Not at all. So they need some little push towards actually doing it, some little reason. Rewards are that reason. That’s not what I said. I’m not against rewards.
