BUT if not I'd also suggest posting on the FF14 reddit only because I know the devs pay extra attention for social media posts. It'd also help if the issue was presented in different places for the most reach.

For what it's worth, OP, if you want to play Pilgrim's Traverse up to floor 30 so you can see the main story, I don't remember there being any eight legged critters until deep into the 90's. So while you couldn't finish the whole Deep Dungeon without encountering spiders, you can see the story parts and also get pretty far into it for loot and such if you wanted.

Anyhow, I hope you find some relief, one way or another.
