I suppose that makes sense, considering that in the game we can run into tanks that suffer from "OT only syndrome" and will NOT turn their stance on ever, but on the flipside - having people that MUST be the MT or they will have a provoke fight, and no, having 5+ vuln stacks & brink of death will not stop them...
