How to have fun healing in normal content?

Yeah, much as I hate to echo the other posters here, the sooner you accept that the devs don't want you to play healer and move on to pastures new (be that dps or tank, WAR is the one healer the devs DO want people to play) the better.

Unfortunately, the healer role is the only one that rewards mastery with extra downtime while not giving you anything fun to do during downtime.

It doesn't even get any better in harder content either, harder content is very much spreadsheet content and people taking unplanned damage usually ends up being a wipe to an incoming body check, not to mention taking avoidable hits in harder content generally just kills you outright.

irrespective of whether that's true or not, I still think if you find normal snooze (who doesn't) it logically follows that you'd enjoy savage more.

SE has heard you. Starting in 8.0 all healers just get a aoe dot on a 2 minute cd. And at max level it gets a 4 minute cd.

I see you are having fun in FRU. Where is the issue? Are you falling asleep there? I'm sure Burnished Glory and Mirrors will provide sufficient entertainment for you for now. It's less demanding than the healing required in M6s was in May.
