How you imagine yourself in 2027 in XIV what are your plans?

For me - I might finally get into seriously leveling my gathering and crafting professions. I've kinda wanted to for years, but my playtime is relatively limited in general, and there's always that "something else" I'd rather do first, so I just never get around to it.

Other goal would be leveling all my classes up to 70 so I can experience the rest of the class-specific storylines and gradually finding groups to win the fights and unlock Mentor Roulette.

And maybe...someday...complete my first DT relic...

Returning just recently for the sake of roleplaying with my friends (had quit not long after DT launch), I'll probably spend the majority of 2026 unsubbed, as RP activities, or even me being burned from it, tend to fluctuate.

Unless somehow they manage to deliver engaging content that keeps me entertained for a long time. We'll get the new Deep Dungeon either next week or the following one, and I guess that can be used as some sort of gauge.

The same tome farming, working on my 2k mentor rous for the mount, farming glam or wing mounts, and trying to upgrade from the S house to a M house for my private or FC housing if I can't do it in the rest of the months left in 2025.

Basically, I have fun in FFXIV if I don't, I'll quit since it is a sub-based MMO, and everyone should ask themselves deep down if a virtual house is tying you to a MMO you dislike and can't help but post about how much SE is personally targeting you.

Honestly, probably what I've already been doing this/last year. Playing frontline matches for 3 days during free login campaign, and then disappearing until the next one.

Doing content I didn't get round to yet. I'm slowly bothering with crafters as well, but also have various raids I didn't bother with yet like Chaotic, Ultimates, etc.

I sincerely haven't planned that far, I haven't planned far enough to know what I will be doing when I log in tomorrow...

Maybe playing 1 day a week because I don't expect any improvements just the same old.

It should be pretty simnilar to what I do today, craft a lot, sell on the MB to make Gil and continuously decorate my homes for in game events and more as I'm a big housing enthusiast. I will also keep hanging out and socializing with my friends and do the 8.0 hunt trains and more. I'm pretty casual for the most part but I may actually try raiding but my biggest road blocks are unreliable internet living in a rural area irl and also random power outages that can happen a few times day at times. I'm also deaf, so I wouldn't be able to join statics that use VC and that has been my biggest reason for never doing current tier savage raiding but I would love to one day along with ultimate's if they can repair my hearing one day medically.
