Not that I am trying to defend the original argument, but:

Buy Items from Wards
Craft Militia Item
Exchange For Anima
Sell Teleport for Cash

Repeat


There is, albeit a roundabout way, now a mechanism for including Anima in the gil chain.

I think I was able to:
Spend 10k on crafting materials
Make a Militia Item
Trade it in for 4 anima.

Giving Anima a value of 2.5k gil/ea. This would then yield teleport prices of:
7.5k gil to Favourited Location
15k gil to the most distant location

If we cut in a decent amount of profit, cost of time & expense, simplicity of pricing scheme, then 25k/teleport would be a fair price.

There is of course the added 'bonus' of sometimes getting 100 Anima.
