Hey Rokien, sup?
Turning Anima into Seals could be a good idea, but they may have other ideas to obtain Seals and want to ensure it is balanced. You can already turn Anima into Gil by selling teleports, but it isnt exactly a fast train market, though you can get some quite high profits, I have tele'd for 50-60k quite often since patch due to people rushing to do content.
They should try move away from Anima, and implement a smaller alternative, i mean there is a lot of people who hate it, but could you imagine going back from Dragon head to Gridania every 15 minutes then from Gridania back to Dragon Head and so on, its a good 10-15 minute ride 1 way. A lot of people who hate it, will suffer if its removed, because they are too used to having it now. Though there are some who are genuine and just dont use it, fair dos.
The Anima for Sanction is quite a nice idea, i do like that. As it is, so apparently easy for everyone to get Anima (its not, you're just that pro and far ahead in the game) then maybe we should have alternative spending methods other than teleportation.
i wish hamlet gave me company seals![]()
The player-based economy has already begun to create anima currency, in the form of branches, stones and indigo fish.
I don't see the point of making things more complex than that.
I like the OP, I think it would be cool if Anima could be used for more things. Sanction sounds nice. Or some sort of future "black market" vendor that trades items for your Anima? But more importantly...
I also do agree that Hamlet should DEFINITELY reward seals. This gives it a much more lasting appeal for people that already have the Militia stuff they want (or have just given up on Militia stuff :P). As I understand it, you get the Anima rewards before the battle portion begins, so that doesn't encourage battle play.
When people say things that don't make sense, others are going to comment on it. It's a fact of life and the internet. Why are you even focused on this and not the idea of the op
Anima is not a currency and shouldn't be treated like one. Trading your life force (which anima in some way represents) for GC seals doesn't make any kind of logical sense.
Why shouldn't it be treated as such, it would make for an interesting system. When people say things that don't make sense, others are going to comment on it. It's a fact of life and the internet.

What's interesting about it? Why would I want to give up my anima to get GC currency?
As per starlord, I'd rather see GC seals being awarded simply for participating in the defense for the hamlet that matches your company.
It would be a choice, so far there is hardly any choices needed to be made in this game....
