So true, I mean of course the game will not die soon or in the near future. Still less players playing means even smaller budget, why investing in a game that already reached its peak moment and now struggle to keep those players engaged? But only when the feedback reinforces their decisions. Anything that goes against their limited views gets tossed out, or possibly labeled as harassment.

"Big rework" is definitely definable. It's just a relative concept, and I think you are mistaking the two.

There's an entire context behind that promise, with Yoshi-P expressing regrets over the 2-minute meta and simplified jobs in the same interview. All of this opens room for different interpretations. Of course the thread represents an opinion. What is job identity? Yoshi-P speaks in riddles and apparently we don't even know the meaning of the word "cost". It seems that native Japanese speakers didn't understand that as well. To many, Yoshi-P did promise major job overhaul. It's very easy to pick the wrong words and put the blame on the community, or try to sneak and avoid past promises.

You are arguing that it is subjective opinion that defines the term. But the range of subjective opinions for a term is theoretically infinite. So thats why I just skipped the idea of relative value. And interesting debate honestly. However I can tell you in advance I do not agree.

It will follow the same script as all the other expansions: they'll upgrade 2 skills, maybe a trait, shave off some more timers and DoTs, add a finisher and *one* new piece of content that will be promptly abandoned afterwards.

Not really surprising, honestly. Kinda naive to think they’d rebuild the whole class system from scratch, that’d be a disaster.
Remember the drama over the character graphics update? Imagine that, but with the entire class system.
They just don’t have the guts or skill for something that huge.
