How do you know it's not you messing up the mechanics?

Huh? The game usually makes it very clear if you mess up a mechanic. You either get a damage down or a vuln stack or you just hit the floor. That's a good indicator for when you did something wrong.
I honestly don't even know how to answer that. I DO know when I mess up a mechanic. And after learning a fight I also know when I don't mess up a mechanic. You make it sound like I said I'm holier than thou and never make a mistake when in reality I'm the first one to admit that we just wiped because I was in the wrong place. The only mistake I'm not making here is joining farm parties without knowing the fight.

I consider my own time fairly valuable, so if I want to farm something, I kinda wanna progress towards that goal and not wipe to the same thing over and over again because someone keeps messing it up. Wiping every now and again during a farm is fine, but repeatedly to the same thing? Nah man, that's wasting my and everyone elses time. I assume most other people consider their time equally valuable.

And about the first sentence in your reply... ye you know nothing about what anyone said, you're just making assumptions. I don't see any proof here about anyone conspiring against you.
