More action oriented combat{again}

Now, I've made this thread a while back ago when they first put in auto attack. It did get blocked because we got off kilter and started talking about other games, a lot.
So, I'm just wondering how many of you would like our old combat system back in place if it was improved on. please note: 1111111=LT(left trigger)LtLtLtLtLt. It's just how you perceive it. So, would you guys would have rather BUILD and make that battle system better or just stick with AA, because really, I know how much you guys like to stay with the "modern" mmo, and the "modern" mmo is more 111111 oriented.

As for me I would have loved to see yoshi build on top of that battle system(make it better). Instead of just doing a cheap/safe AA style, because really AA is sooo 2001. Yes it works, but really, I like to be involved in my games.

So, in 2.0 would you guys like a change in the battle system?

My reason= I don't like button mashing. I bought the CE at launch and stopped playing pretty much straight away because I hated not having AA. If they reintroduced it I would quit.

You really didn't give a valid reason why you like to hit 1111111 ( another random button) 1111111 It gets tiresome and annoying the more times I press the same God dang button! All the changes the people like.. you want to see removed... *shrugs* you are quite the comedian! at least people are entertained by your threads.. I suppose.

So you don't like shooters, rts games, rpg games, any other kid of game that doesn't have auto attack?

That was one of my husbands gripes too about this game. He found it absolutely crazy about the button mashing to attack. He and I come from a FFXI background, and while I DO NOT WANT XI here, I think there are some very fundamental things from XI that should have been implemented from the get go, I.E. NO BUTTON MASHING!
