Dawntrail ended like it did because it avoided any political subject. You guys seem to not see that because you're blinded by the whole Sena Brier thing, but you remember every other version has WL voiced by a woman, and remove that, there is nothing political left in DT. They avoided any statement to the point it was consensually boring.

We're not talking about in-game politics. One of my favorite scenes in the game was the meeting with Varis in Stormblood. We're talking about real-world political stuff.
