Just how do you "leisurely do" content that's designed to take a certain amount of time ?
Dungeons they control how much you can pull at a time, trials and raids will naturally take a certain amount of time unless you are not doing a rotation at all, unreal, extreme, savage, ultimate have enrage, deep dungeon has a time limit too.
The leisure is choosing the activity itself, once in it, its very much designed for a set pace.
If you want to go against the design, trusts and support exist.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????And all of this fails to mention WHY wall to wall is so distasteful.
You guys remember when WoW was the King Turd, and phrases like "stop standing in the bad" became common parlance?
Because DPS would get *so* blinded and wrapped up in the "fun" and "challenge" that they'd miss danger and take avoidable damage, which frustrated the healers.
Now we have the healers doing the precise same shit, and wanting special accommodation for it.
Everyone who plays tank knows that the mitigations are ADEQUATE, theyre not generous. With the cool downs I have, I cannot *actually* pull wall to wall, I need to see what the healer can keep up with. Those cool downs that I pop will almost certainly still be on cool down when this pack is dead, and the healer who is too blinded by the "fun" and "challenge" of being a green DPS to see that im dropping health like a fucking rock.
And the Red DPS are having too much "fun" and "challenge" dodging the six or seven revolving door aoes on the ground at any given time (since we pulled wall to wall) to notice that theyre not actually killing the mobs all that fast, and theyre sure as hell not prioritizing the really dangerous ones while they do the pew pewing.
What im left with is ME, trying to pick up the pieces of YOUR impatience, with zero acknowledgement that it was YOUR actions that put us here, and YOUR lack of paying attention that have resulted in me dying, and the group roaching to the winds as if that will ever, ever work...
And im supposed to do this because... you want me to?
Id rather do it intelligently. In manageable groups. And if you dont have the time for that, dont queue.
The cooldowns are generous especially on Paladin of all classes. Unless you're soloing the pack you shouldn't be having trouble. Maybe press literally anything in your kit that would help you preemptively instead of reactionary.

You ignored precisely what i said, and spammed a bunch of unnecessary questions marks, then "claimed" victory like a pigeon on a chessboard.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Go back, and re-read. I'll respond when you have.
Again derailing the topic into "tanks being slow is bad", that's not the problem here was it.
Not every tank in the duty finder is gonna be a speed demon who will pull wall to wall before you can weave 2 gcds of AoE, doesn't mean they are slow or griefing.
If DPS are gonna pull mobs, they should bring it back to the tank, its not like they are gonna survive more than 3-4 autos from the pack.
Instead of asking people to go play another games cause they can't match your "philosophies", try saying that ingame and see how it works for you.
Im fairly sure the people we are responding to are trolling. Best to let the thread die out now, everything that can be said has been.Again derailing the topic into "tanks being slow is bad", that's not the problem here was it.

That entirely depends on which dungeons you are talking about doesnt it? You have more than generous mitigation and self-healing on anything SHB and above. Really, even Stb dungeons. Tanks have most of their mitigations available, some form of self-healing, invuln. And all of this fails to mention WHY wall to wall is so distasteful.

There are stupid people in every game, and this one is no exception. As tank advice, do an AoE, take the aggro, and keep going through the dungeon. Don't get frustrated; it's not worth it. If they die while pulling, that's their problem, not yours. Ignore them while they pound on their keyboard crying. At the end of the dungeon, block that person and move on.
There's very little to respond to in the first place. This is not WoW where you have mobs actually doing relevant things in dungeons. Where you kind of have to pay attention especially if you go into higher tier keys due to the huge set back of losing said key gets you.
The trash mobs do nothing aside from 'Me auto attack and me throw circle on the floor', and they do not hit very hard. A single pack won't even kill you if the healer decides to afk and the dps/tank kills it by themselves. And if the circle hits the dps? They don't care, they just press bloodbath or second wind/shields and simply not get hit the second time. They pull the mobs? You press a single aoe, or shield lob, or provoke and you have aggro for the next century. It's not like the mobs will magically attack the dps/healer forever unless you decide throwing a temper tantrum is the right thing to do. There is just nothing that punishes players anymore, so players who are inexperienced go "oh my god they're dying" when they're not. They got hit by something that will not show up again if the players aren't drooling on their keyboard/controller.
I did read what you said. Dungeon content is such a nothing burger that not pulling wall to wall is actually wasting people's time. If you die on it, then who cares, your cooldowns are reset if the party wipes and it won't matter anyway with your "adequate" cooldowns. That's ignoring the fact that Paladin has the second best cooldowns for dungeons in the first place and can heal themselves/others through a pack easily at higher levels. The only way the cooldowns are adequate is you decide randomly stacking your 90s and 120s cd is a good idea.
