At best one could argue I shouldn't have been trying to do the raids for the first time during a mogtome event where people are expecting to do quick and flawless runs, but that just goes to show how many players in this game only care about rushing down content and have no qualms whatsoever with leaving other people in the dust, mocking and punishing them as they run by. Or how it's really REALLY damn hard for people to keep claiming this game has a "nice and friendly community" when I've encountered more toxicity in the last year across the forums, social media, and even in-game then I ever did prior to Dawntrail.
I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll say I personally don't think that's indicative of the community as a whole, and there's no reason you should be kicked for bad play unless you were actively wiping the group repeatedly to the point where they can't clear, which is pretty hard to do as one person in a 24-man alliance raid. Whether or not you're willing to get back on the horse and try again is up to you, but I don't believe that experience is common, which I say not to dismiss it but to say that I think it's unlikely to happen again with any frequency.

Hell, I can only rightly assume they hang out in FCs and statics as toxic as they are to account for their own progress, there's no other explanation that makes sense given their conduct because any normal person would avoid them. And they can't say shit about me making said assumptions because lord knows they've been making huge and sweeping ones of their own. Fair is fair.
No one is being toxic to you.

What people are asking is why should the game to be made easier for people? No one is asking you to knock it out first try in fact I have encouraged people to try over and over again and die in order to learn. I am very patient in game and have never kicked anyone for learning. I am frustrated because people here don't seem to want to die and adjust they instead want the game made easier. This content is 3 days old it isn't meant to be face rolled in one pull and even the best players die and work around it without just saying they have a disability and therefore cannot overcome this.

I have said many times that no one is born a God gamer and everyone dies but an easy mode is not the solution because at its core this is what FFXIV combat is and it shouldn't have to be stripped down when after a few tries this won't be a problem anymore.

I have tried to be kind but people just want to call me abelist and dismiss me because I'm not part of your echo chamber.

I don't have a static or an FC I do all content including savage and ultimate in PF and I don't mind people learning or dying hell I do it all the time! Do you know how many times I've messed up a tank mechanic and wiped the party even in ultimate like 14 minutes in? All I ask is for people to try and overcome something before asking for a nerf

I didn't even learn about "show hole" on Mustadio until I was helping SOMEONE ELSE do the Orbonne Monastery unsync and another person mentioned it for them (not realizing I had no idea either despite having done the fight thrice before).

Ironically, the pillars on Hashmal weren't even something I ever died on, because I was already used to doing Slice is Right and even have the title for it. Really wild idea here, but maybe if more mini-games/stake-less side content had mechanics to do over and over again that you'll encounter in combat content later, maybe more people would be acquainted with it and be able to adapt immediately instead of standing there wondering "wait, what's happening?" before dying, followed by no one explaining because rushrushrushcantchatforonesecond. Training dummies ain't it either, because that's only useful for rotations, not mechanics.

It's even been suggested before in another topic way back when that there SHOULD be a Trust version of Extremes/Savages/etc with NPCs that are literally there to show you how it all works with the caveat that you get no rewards or achievements for getting the thumbs-up that the game thinks you might be ready to do the real thing. Advanced warning/practice in an environment where you won't cause wipes for others/have to deal with broken gear intended as a guide would certainly do more wonders than this "sucks to suck, unsub scrub" nonsense that seems to be the norm.
8 man and 24 man raids are usually the places they used to add new mechanics to the game back then in stormblood so all of us who played back then had to learn it pretty abruptly there through trial and errors. For a lot of us it was the first time seeing these types of mechs as well, we wiped a bunch and folks slowly learnt to overcome them. Even Slice is right was added later on after hashmal so by then folks had an idea what to expect.

As for having a "trust" like system for extremes/savages and the like with NPC, it goes against the dev's philosophy of working together with other players and figuring out stuff as a collective since it IS an MMO. Unless you wanna run sims cos thats easy and convenient which also has its own merits cos youre saving the time of other people in a way.
