OP gave me hope and then hope lost when i saw the ensuing chaos in this thread. Toxic positivity vs Toxic negativity going all out on every ends.I’m really glad they were able to beat it.
Imagine if they had just tried a few more times instead of blanketly stating the game is too hard and then creating a 40 page meme discussion. I don’t know how else to say this, somehow these threads always come off as super whiny to me. God forbid personal accountability in any game.

Square should make the trust NPCs max ilv and allow them to res the player it would make peps feel closer to the scions for ex and it saves a person that is doing trust time (the main reason I nvr tried trust players are often faster).
I thought you had other better MMO's to be playing that require no thought or effort. What are you doing dooming on this one still? The funny thing is that what began as yet another insult is pretty much on the mark.
I drove for many years and decided to quit when I could only continue with a special dispensation from an optometrist. I decided if that was necessary I'd probably be a danger to myself and others, so quit.
But thinking about it, driving stick safely in city traffic and clearing DT dungeons does require similar skills. Knowledge of the rules, observation, information processing, and reaction.
The US comeback to this will be "but nearly everyone can drive stick in city traffic." Based on what I see here in Vegas, I'd strongly suggest many should not be. In Europe, there's far less of an expectation that everyone can drive.
Probably not a coincidence that per capita driving deaths in the US are 50% higher than Canada, Australia, Japan and Western Europe.
This simply illustrates how out of touch you are.

This thread has evolved from "game is too difficult" to "I have astigmatism, and I demand I can play this game without my glasses on."
Yup because now they are using any excuse they can to justify why the dev team should cater to specifically them and if they don't its abelist and discrimination.

I'm sorry but most players want dungeons that you actually have to be engaged for. And I don't mean difficult mechanics, the mechanics in the new dungeon are not hard at all, they just require you to pay at least 10% attention to the game. It's not fair for the majority of the players that want to actually play the game when they play the game for everything to be doable blindfolded.
To be fair OPs solution is actually completely harmless to you, and can be implemented in a way such that it is completely harmless to you, or anyone else that wants a challenge for that matter.I'm sorry but most players want dungeons that you actually have to be engaged for. I am so serious right now.
Everyone saying that dumbing down combat because its too hard but also stating they don't want an "I win" mode just accessibility and crying abelist, what is stopping anyone with a disability from dying and going again until they find a way to make the encounter work in their brain? There will be a tell somewhere they will eventually find, there will be a way to recognise and memorise after a few deaths no matter what disability. Why can't they die a few times and overcome this challenge instead of demanding the game changes for them?
I have bad eyesight, I can't do anything without my glasses and my game UI is bunch of 160-200% size elements that I know would be nightmarish to people who like a clean HUD.
I just did a run of the new dungeon where a DPS died twice on the second boss, and the healer died to the last boss (I got to use a phoenix down for the first time in years). And it's fine! No one gets upset when this happens.
