I think the idea is we need good, new companions for our WoL to travel with and DT didn't give us the varied responses when we're allowed to speak to actually make them feel like a proper avatar.

I would like to see Wuk Lamat killed off in the story.
Have a pebble fall on her head or something.

I hope the devs are listening. We need the devs to please listen.
I do my best to ignore her in any cutscene. We unfortunately have to suffer her in 7.3, but if she rears her head in 8.0 in any way, Im no longer subbing to future expansions.

In that regard, she could become a new member of the Scions, which would mean that we would get to speak to her in many more instances than we could imagine.
I'm gonna go ahead and voice my strong disagreement with your opinion as well. I do not want a revolving door of guest characters who steal the limelight from my WoL. I would be fine with some middle ground, a story where someone shares the focus alongside my WoL, but not a repeat of Wuk Lamat or Zero. Absolutely not.

Holy moly the echo chamber you live in is crazy. I've played The Interphos over 100 times in PF and most I would see people react with is "WUK LAMAT COMES IN WITH THE STEEL CHAIR" or say "SPEEEN". Either your entire group of friends and FC desperately need to touch grass if you're reacting like this over a cool video game cutscene or you're making this shit up for some reason and idk which is weirder.

Zero didn't steal the limelight. The story made it crystal clear the WoL was instrumental in helping her find the person she used to be before the Thirteenth fell to darkness. Jullus and the WoL contributed significantly to her development.I'm gonna go ahead and voice my strong disagreement with your opinion as well. Hard disagree. Zero was clearly the devs testing to waters to see how much they could get away with shoving the WoL off to the side. In all conversations I've seen about the character, it's been the general consensus that she was the main character while the WoL took a backseat. We may not have been as sidelined as we were with Wuk Lamat, nevertheless we were still very much a side character, and I didn't care for it. It didn't help that I found all of post-EW to be agonizingly bland. I actually fell asleep during it several times. If you liked Zero, good on you. I didn't.
Final Fantasy XIV lost over half a million players, or 40% of its player base, after Dawntrail launched. If you don't see people complain, it's because they unsubbed.Holy moly the echo chamber you live in is crazy.
