No housing at all seriously hurts, especially after being told in part 1 that they'll talk about it in part 2. Extreme slap in the face for the "talking about it" ending up being "it's not ready yet please wait".

I don't disagree, but on the other hand you don't have to watch it either. It's not like you won't be able to see if the LL actually talked about the issue or not after without wasting your time.Too long and drawn out, he needs a handler.
He wastes like an hour talking about a pixel on a lalas forehead. Wastes like an hour the previous LL on how speech bubbles work. Wastes like an hour in this LL telling us how deep dungeons work-what is he doing. What is he doing.
And I don't appreciate how he lied for attention and views.
He knew a month ago that there weren't any updates for coming for housing. So what did he say, at the end of that last LL?
"We'll talk more about housing in the next LL"
I sat through 3 hours of him talking last month just to get told to tune in today.
So I tune in today for another 4 hours just to be told once again right at the very end, "Actually, there's no news, and its absolutely NOT because I went to a concert to re-live whats left of my youth" Are you insane????????? "a-and tomorrow, I get on a plane to go to taiwan and" Has he lost his mind?????? If he's too busy being a global aging rockstar then fine, do that, but he needs to say that upfront so people don't waste their time watching, waiting on something that he already knows we're not going to hear. That man is devious. Anything for attention!! Anyway the rest was fine though. but there's no chance I'm watching future LL's, I cannot stand a liar.
Secretly had a crush on Mao
I waited after being told that Housing news and information were going to be in this LL only to find out once again, there are no news. Not only that but it dragged on forever, only for them to drop it in the last segment, with less than 5 minutes of talk on the subject. It's very disappointing and a little disrespectful.
All I can really say is, 'Wow, okay'.
The rest of the LL was a little ... dragged on? Neat armors, cool deep dungeon. Disappointing Housing news.
Im going crazy reading reactions to this DD because its the exact same gameplay for the fourth time.
- Hyped for the FFXI raid.
- New DD looks fun.
- New PvP map looks fun.
- Housing updates being delayed is a huge bummer.
- Chat bubbles are useless with a two line limit.
i heard warriors can rezz now in dungeons... can we now turn their symbol green?
without fun jobs none of the content is fun
I need to get a actual cap for that before I can make a judgement.
It has been seen there were 8 words that covered 2 lines of the chat bubble, so I can assume it's a letter cap of about 40 in total ... ?
For the average MMO talk, sufficient. For RP, lacking.
Love the dd dungeon and the tweaks they've made for it. I think they're approaching it a new and exciting way. Hopefully it turns out the way they want it to! Having weekly challenges, different levels of rewards based on difficulty, more mb-able items, matched parties... I think this is a great step to making content that lasts a lot longer!
The change to phoenix down is also exciting because of their promise to be tweaking job identity in 8.0. Not trying to be too hopeful, but I'm cautiously optimistic that this might mean some well deserved changes to healers. Having every class being able to rezz might mean more focus on damage abilities (especially for sage!) or giving healers some more niche/different capacities when it comes to their actual healing skills. I love healing, and I really want to see some of these classes shine.
Definitely disappointing to hear about the housing, though. I imagine it isn't the easiest thing to code and implement, and I am always more willing to wait longer to make sure it doesn't break my game because of sloppy code, but I won't lie and say I'm not upset. Hopefully this rolls out by 8.0.
Overall, it wasn't perfect, but I think the DD is a good sign for how they are now approaching new content, I think some QOL changes are well-deserved and may hint at bigger changes, but others just fall flat. (I agree on the two line limit, like cmon... A littlebit more than that should be fine.) Mixed bag but better than how the last few LL's have felt. Also, can't lie, I'm still riding the high of getting to put my boy in hats!
Lots of nice QoL updates. I wasn't interested in the Deep Dungeon before but it looks like they've made a genuine effort to make it less annoying to do, so maybe this is the one I finally finish.
