    Meh

    Chat bubbles- don't care
    Housing- nothing as per usual (not surprised they lied about it being in this LL)
    PvP- Oh look another map for a version of PvP I don't play
    DD- okay, not mad about that one
    New Raid- meh
    New dng- same boring formula that will be boring and bland after a few more times

    Overall feeling: With player numbers falling off a cliff, they still do the same stuff to appease the white knights in NA and their limited player base in Japan. On the other hand go check out what WoW is getting in it's new season, if only we got half of that!

    DD actually looks somewhat decent - enemies are no damage sponges from Yoshi-P's demo, and the changes to allow us to climb with the harder floors with randoms are well welcomed. I appreciate them trying to innovate, especially with Quantum, even if that specific thing may not be for me.
    Too bad the general game of DD is still a carbon copy, with pomanders and all. We shall see how it is once it is live in a couple of months.

    New PVP map looks interesting. Could be fun to play.

    Chat bubbles seem to be way too limited to be useful. capping longer texts, and also not allowing them in battle because you fear the community may bully others into using it? Are you that afraid of letting the GMs handle a couple of reports if some players get nasty?


    The demos are definitely too long and too drawn out. We do not need an in depth explanation of every single thing, like the length with which Chat Bubbles were shown.

    They said the furnishing limit would be increasing by 7.3, but apparently that's not happening? They didn't even mention it besides an offhand comment saying "not yet" in response to someone in chat.

    If that's not happening, then there's nothing in this patch that interests me. The Deep Dungeon is coming 2 months later in 7.35, and despite them saying it's different, it looks to be yet another copy/paste of Palace of the Dead.

    The only interesting thing about the DD is the variable-difficulty boss battle that's queueable. On the other hand, due to their statements that at max level it's "ultimate difficulty content" that means we're getting yet another piece of hardcore content that's only for a small percentage of the playerbase.

    This is the intention square plans to go in the future which they talked about it, they want content for both the hardcore and casual player and i think this is a good way

    you got a easier difficulity for casuals and you can push it up for people which want more challenges, this is a really great change

    As much as I wanted a different power system for the Deep Dungeon, I'm very pleased to see they tackled it positively everywhere else. Especially the adjustable boss stats, it reminds me of WoW's Horrific Visions where you could amp up the difficulty with certain items.

    As it is, this DD is hyping me way more than the Occult Crescent, so for that alone I'll consider keeping my "tentative return" sub month going on, which would expire next week.

    Just a shame that we have to wait until somewhere in early October for 7.3.5.

    Changes to deep dungeon sound promising, and it’s Il Mheg, so I’ll probably do it. Phoenix Down changes are nice. But the added starting points? Why not let you start from any 10-floor set? And didn’t see anything about increasing the number of saves… if that’s still going to be a thing?

    Lots of cool glams, mounts and minions: they’re winning there. Treasure dungeon looks really good. Gpose changes look interesting. New CC map and the ability to take a friend is nice.

    But severely disappointed that housing updates are being pushed again. Especially when they said last LL, we’d be getting details today. Failing that we should have gotten an explanation as to what exactly they’re trying to do and why it is taking so long. From past statements, it’s the item increase that has now been put off twice. The “housing mirage” or “Tardis housing” was never given a firm timeline, just something they want to do. So are they holding back item limits to do mirage at the same time? If so, say so… but really no reason to wait on the item limit increase for that when we’ve been hearing about it since well before DT launch.

    And of course, the expected disappointment that as of yet, they’re not planning for a Normal version of FTB… I couldn’t care less about chat bubbles or Mahjong.

    I like the phoenix down update; it relieves some pressure from healers not to die while learning content when there isn't a SMN/RDM in the party.

    On the other hand, SMN/RDM may lose some of their utility and need, so hopefully they compensate those jobs in some way also.

    I believe this change was a precursor to the eventual removal of SMN Raise
